About Martin

Milton Trager M.D and M.R.A., 1987

Martin became a TRAGER® Practitioner in 1985, after a successful career in the theatre. He trained several years with the late Milton Trager, M.D. and leads workshops introducing TRAGER to bodywork professionals and the public at large.  His years of a full time TRAGER practice have given Martin the skills to be effective in treating stiff muscles of the back, neck and shoulders, sciatica, repetitive movement injuries, knee dysfunctions and recovery from hip and other surgeries.   He helps those with chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, dystonia, aphasia and TMJ pain.  Martin works with those challenged with post stroke symptoms, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. He offers his clients new ways of thinking and moving to effortlessly extend their sessions with him into their everyday lives.

“I’ve had several back operations and most massage experts I’d been too were too rough.  Martin is gentle enough to never hurt.  Yet I walk out of a session feeling so much taller and lighter. My tension disappears.”
